CREATIVE MIXER 1
Designed to toe the line between social engagement and professional networking, our Creative Mixers aim to create a casual and agenda-free space for creatives to surround themselves with like-minded people. It offers those who work from home, or who work within organizations, to move beyond their desks and meet new and interesting people over a common activity, interest, and idea.
Our very first Creative Mixer turned out to be an evening of non-stop chatter, flowing drinks, plenty of activities, and many new connections made— so much so that our guests had to be ushered out of the venue. With over 60 attendees engaging in screen printing, candle pouring, mindfulness activities and more, it was a smashing success!
Through the night we met young people, all under 40, from careers ranging from architecture to dentistry, digital marketing to hospitality, sports management to typography. It was an eclectic mix of personalities which made every interaction unique. With our ice-breaker cards in hand, there was no way attendees could leave without having bonded with at least 3 new people, and taken home keepsakes to remember the night by.
The night was tightly held to together by our art partners Mix.Co, KuchBhi Studio, Adikriya and The Curator Mag; our drinks partners at Pumori, Woodburns Whiskey and Segredo Aldeia; and our wonderful hosts at Ministry of New whose beautiful Library was the perfect setting.
