CULTURE CON 2025

Visual Identity, Social Media, Events

CultureCon is the annual gathering for India's creative economy, bringing together working creative professionals and entrepreneurs to discuss building careers and sustaining practices. For their 2025 edition, themed Building Creative Futures, Praxis was commissioned to expand on their well established visual language to carry the conference across signage, wayfinding, and social media. Key to the project was developing a flexible system rooted in the geometry of the logo itself, yet modular enough to expand across touchpoints.

The tagline practically suggested the logic itself. The bold coloured ‘frames’ were not simply decorative, but load-bearing, giving the identity a common logic to build from. Frames could expand or contract to hold a headline, a speaker name, or event details, stacking and interlocking in a way that felt true to the idea of building. The typography leaned on a single typeface at varying scales, letting size and scale do the work. Paired with a rich, jewel-toned palette of oranges, blues, and purples, the edition was both fresh, yet familiar.

A key consideration for the system was longevity. The visual language of CultureCon needed to live well beyond the conference itself, continuing in the hands of the team for ongoing communications and events throughout the year. Every visual decision had to be easy to understand and recreate for smooth handover to the internal team. Black & white photography, a solid colour palette, and use of a single typeface reduced variables and gave the team a simple guide to follow consistently across any creative.
