There’s a peculiar romance to the monsoon — silver-grey skies and the scent of petrichor rising from Bombay’s old stones. It’s in this mood of quiet reflection that we invite you to the Monsoon Edition of our Creative Mixers, Praxis’s signature evening of conversation, connection, and creative company.

On this evening, time itself will slow, inviting us to linger, listen, and let language lead. The rains will become more than a backdrop — they'll be a mood, a muse, and a quiet invitation to gather around our speaker for the evening, Saranya Subramanian (The Bombay Poetry Crawl).

Expect intimate readings, prompts that stir the soul, and the soft rustle of pens meeting paper. Writers, readers, and the quietly curious — this is your night.

We’ll be serving warm brews (some with a twist!) and comforting monsoon bites — hot concoctions designed to cradle your cup and your conversation. 

Come for the poetry. Stay for the people. And let’s turn fleeting encounters into familiar company.

- Praxis Common Room events are open to students and professionals. 18+ only. ID with age proof will be checked.
- Tickets must be purchased online only.
- Refunds for tickets will not be available. Tickets once purchased are non transferable.
- If rescheduled or moved, Praxis will give you the options of exchanging your tickets for the new date/location.
- Tickets are inclusive of entry to the venue, food, drinks and limited activities. No outside food or drink allowed.
- Photography and filming may take place at the event. If you wish not to be recorded, please inform a member of staff.
